FlyRobert works without user accounts and without a server operated by AmbroschTech GmbH. All data stays on your device.

Information Used By The App

• Precise location, when the user grants permission
• Calendar events, when Calendar Import (FlyRobert Pro) is used and access is granted
• GPX files the user explicitly chooses to import
• Waypoints, routes and recorded flights created inside the app

How Information Is Used

• Show current position on the map
• Calculate heading, distance, and ETA to waypoints
• Record a flight track when the user starts a recording
• Scan calendar events on the device for airport codes to suggest routes; calendar data is not stored and never leaves the device

Data Collection

FlyRobert does not require account registration and contains no advertising, analytics or tracking. AmbroschTech GmbH does not collect or receive location, routes, recorded flights, calendar data or GPX files.

Apple Services

Online waypoint search uses Apple MapKit services. In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; the app only receives confirmation that FlyRobert Pro has been purchased.

Data Retention

Waypoints, sessions and recorded flights remain on the device until deleted in the app or the app is removed.

Your Choices

• Deny or revoke location or calendar access in iOS Settings
• Use Simulation Mode instead of live GPS
• Avoid online search and enter waypoint coordinates manually
• Delete recorded flights and sessions inside the app

Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
